Pittsburgh, PA has been the site of a recent indie rock resurgence, with amazing bands like feeble little horse leading the charge. Now Merce Lemon is ready to deliver the next great entry in the Steel City canon. Her new album Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild is out on September 27, 2024, and it's a really special one.
Merce and her fantastic band went down to Asheville, NC to record with Alex Farrar and Colin Miller at Drop of Sun Studios. Greg Freeman took the cover photo. Merce's dad shot some 16mm footage for the music video. It's a family affair cover to cover.
And you can really feel that warmth and honesty in the songs, the video, the look and feel of everything that Merce does. She made something profound, something genuine, and something transformative all at once. Watch the video now, preorder the record on vinyl, and catch the band on the road if you can. And thank you for listening and support her over the years. It means the world.
